Professor Jiyou Jia

Peking  University, China

Bio: Dr. Jiyou Jia is a full professorand theHead of the Department of Educational Technology, Graduate School of Education, Peking University, China and is also the founding director of International Research Center for Education and InformationTechnology at Peking University. He was invited to work as a guest professor in School of Education, Technical University of Munich, Germany, and Distinguished Professor at Institute for Research in Open and Innovative Education, the Open University of Hong Kong, and a Visiting Professor at the Education University of Hong Kong. He was supported by the Ministry of Education's New Century Excellent Talents in University Program (2009). He holds a Bachelor's degree in Science and a Master's degree in Education from Peking University, and a Doctorate in Philosophy from the University of Augsburg, Germany.

His research areas include artificial intelligence education, educational applications of artificial intelligence, educational technology, computer-assisted language learning, and educational decision support systems. He is the leader of the national first-class online and offline blended undergraduate course "Education and Artificial Intelligence". He has been invited to present research results at more than 200 international and domestic academic seminars, and has given presentations at national training programs, provincial and municipal level training programs, and university teacher training conferences. He has authored or edited eight monographs in Chinese, English, and German, and has published over 200 teaching and research papers in important domestic and international journals, as well as at important international conferences. He has won more than ten research and teaching awards in the fields of education and artificial intelligence research both domestically and internationally, such as the first prize of the 5th National Excellent Achievements in Educational Science Research in 2016.

He has been invited to present research results at more than 200 international and domestic academic seminars, and has given presentations at national training programs, provincial and municipal level training programs, and university teacher training conferences.






Professor Xinguo Yu

Central China Normal University, China

Bio:Male, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the National Digital Learning Engineering Technology Research Center ofCentral China Normal University. Former Director of the Central China Normal University Wollongong Joint Institute. Has been engaged in research in areas such as video analysis, computer vision, human-computer interaction, and multimedia technology for a long time. His research achievements have been widely cited by experts at home and abroad. For instance, one of his papers has been cited over 160 times. Has published over 80 papers in authoritative international magazines and well-known international conferences, among which there are over 40 papers as the first author. Has obtained 7 international patents and 2 domestic patents. Is an IEEE and ACM Senior Member. Acts as a reviewer for international renowned magazines such as IEEE Transactions on Multimedia, IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology, IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, Computer Vision and Image Understanding, Journal of Visual Communication and Image Representation, Pattern Recognition, and Pattern Recognition Letters. Also serves as a member of the program committee for several international conferences.

Professor Lin Wang

Hangzhou Dianzi  University, China

Bio: Lin Wang is a distinguished professor of information science at Hangzhou Dianzi University, China. He received a Young Information Scientist award from the China Society for Science and Technology Information and a Bob Williams Research Grant Award from the Association of Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T). He earned a PhD in information science from Peking University. 

His research interests include the foundations of information science and information philosophy. He has published more than one hundred academic papers in international library and information science journals and leading peer-reviewed information science journals in China. Several papers received “best paper” awards from national academic organizations, including the Chinese Society for Science and Technology Information and the Chinese Science and Technology Communication Society. Wang is currently the chair of the special interest group History and Foundation of Information Science, ASIS&T. He is also the vice chair and general secretary of the Zhejiang Information Resources Management Association.







Associate Professor Zigang Ge

Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China

Bio:Zigang Ge, Associate Professor and Master’s Supervisor at the School of Humanities, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT), whose research focuses on technology-empowered teaching. He has been conferred honors including “Young Elite Teacher of Higher Education in Beijing” and “Teaching Master for Curriculum-based Moral Education in Colleges and Universities in Beijing”. He has published more than 40 academic papers in authoritative and core journals at home and abroad such as Language Teaching Research, Computers & Education, Computer Assisted Language Learning and International Journal of Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning. He also acts as a reviewer for multiple journals and a member of the Technical Committee for several international academic conferences.
